tio poison! again...

i know i once expected it to be the end of the journey but now yorick has dangled this in my face:

new sem. new poisons

-grin-

finally got around to some poisons that i had been thinking of. :)

1. a'pexi turbo timer is now in
2. change bumper to mesh wire covering
3. stebel horn now in

i think i can more or less say that barring working on my exhaust or installing a cold air intake system, this great big project is now coming to a close.

like i said before (i think), it is now a timely moment to perhaps go for a dyno test and benchmark my performance. i will definitely post the chart up along to mark the end of the project.

as usual, here are some pictures (mainly of the horn and the wire mesh cover). i really must stop dropping by poohbear's workshop.

first, the bumper was taken out and the horn fixed in.

A side view of the stebel horn.

A front view, the lighting was really bad but i didn't have a choice, fiona was all jacked up.

So where was the bumper all this while?

Mesh grill completed and awaiting fixing back

Part II which will show the completed product and the turbo timer shall be uploaded tonight or soonish. :)

end of the line

with no more potential modifications or poisons to install, i have come to the sad conclusion that it may be the end of performance modifications for fiona after all.

i have in the past two weeks, hit autobacs (twice), stamford tyres, lee chuan hin and adm. all without damaging the wallet!

i will update the full list of modifications on the sidebar sometime soon. but meanwhile, to mark/commemorate this event, i shall be going to go for a dyno session sometime soon.

caution, tortoise ahead

check out what ming brought back from china! i got it on friday and stuck it on today after a carwash.

for those non-chinese speakers, the chinese bit translates into "moving at tortoise speed". i am eagerly awaiting maverick's 'god of combo' sign. :)

in other news, i was stuck at tradehub21 for tinting by infratint yesterday. no more baking in the sun for me.

more updates!

i got the boost gauge boosting last thursday at poohbear's workshop but the job was done by mainly by maverick with tools borrowed from the workshop. the calibration is abit off, but it will suffice for the moment. big thanks to maverick, i owe you dinner!

my hurricane air-filter has also gone in and i did it all by myself! well almost. makes me feel real handy and all. :p

just awaiting my valve thingy from overseas and i will be all done with performance mods. i promise! all that's left will be to make the ride more comfy and look better.

this time, there are no pictures of anything cause my phone/camera is down. bah!

some updates

it's time for some updates on what is new since it has been ages:

1. map light is now done
2. boost gauge is installed (but not boosting yet)
3. floor mats are all done

here are some pics of the floor mats, i will post the gauge and map light when i get the boost tapped. :)i got the mats done by derek, who really provided damn good service and cutting. the material, thickness and weave of the actual mats are actually pretty good. drop a comment or something if u want to get a quality custom mat done at reasonable pricing and i will pass u his contact details.

in other news, i am still waiting for my tbox. :)
